New Capacity added to Xin Point in Mexico and China

In 2019, Xin Point expanded the Group’s overall production capacity in Lagos de Moreno, Mexico and Changzhou, China. These new production facilities are expected to meet the further growth of Xin Point’s on hand orders. Both new factories have started mass production in 2020. 

 

Since 2017, Xin Point has continuously invested in the new production facility in Lagos de Moreno, Mexico, which targets to provide better service to our North American customers with more efficient response respond and faster delivery, as well as, avoid the uncertainties brought by the China-US trade war. This new plant quickly gained wide support of many customers in North America. 

 

The plant in Mexico has a footprint of around 50,000 m², with the first phase of factory covering around 38,000 m². The first electro-plating production line and the supporting injection workshop started trail production in October 2019 and low volume mass production in 2020. The electro-plating capacity of this line is approximately 700,000 m² per annum. This plant also has the capability for an extra 42,000 m² future expansion area. 

 

In 2019, Xin Point has another new production facility located in Changzhou, China and is only one-hour driving distance away from our Wuxi Production Base. It has a floor area of approximately 11,000 m². Currently, the first electro-plating line was installed, with an annual capacity of approximately 700,000 m² per annum. With the granting of the renewed discharge permit, this line started trial production in August 2019 and mass production in 2020.
